As the title suggested: hit the taikos with your drumstick to play your beat!


Well, other than excess amount of homework, these two are my main reasons for being lazy at drawing recently. I have been playing with the "Taiko Drum Master" PS2 game a lot recently. When it seems to be just a simple drumming game, its art style is so cute and colorful that stops you to quit playing it! And anyway, I have always loved to play music games. (Don't like playing instruments, though)

These two taikos are called Don(the red-face one) and Katsu(the blue-face one). In the game, Don's face is for the "Bang" sound, and Katsu's
for the "Tap" sound. That's why they sound differently here. (Sounds from the sound effects provided from Flash MX)

Since I tried to copy the art style in the game, I even didn't bother to shading these little taikos. Sorry for the lack of work here. I myself somehow have fun with this little two things, though. Have been drumming two songs with them...
